Diary Entry

As we will be making our own music video next year, we are now tasked to help young music students make a music video for the music they had created, we need to get this video created within 5 weeks, my media class split up into twos/threes and joined a group year sevens studying media, we then had to design a music video for their 25 second music tune. i feel this group was very enfusiastic about the music video and were giving us some very imanginary ideas to put towards the music video. there for the next group of year eights we had were rather quite and were concerntrating on getting their music perfect.

group one- over the past couple of weeks me and my partner Latisha have been working with four girls to make a music video, their music is very updated and will be good to work with because the beat is attractive. In the end we as a group decided to make a day dream video, were a young girl is on a field with her fello friends and she goes into a day dream because the atmoshphere is dull, in her day dream she looks up and all her friends are from different cultures and are listening to funky music, each friend is a different character for example a dude, a hypee, and a maracoon dancer. this idea came new from the original idea of having a house party that transforms from being boring to being the best party ever, but obviously this was impossible to follow through becuase the video needs to be done in school fo health and safety reasons.

group two- group two was completly different to group one, as group two is quiet and doesnt really speak out ideas to us, they are more interested to getting their music perfect, the music is very basic and rather repeated, me and my partner first thought it reminded us of an emotional rollercoaster as it would beat up then dull down, so the next meeting we had with this group we decided that the best plan was to create a love scene were one girl is waiting for her lover to come. as the music is only goes on for a short amount of time and we would not have enough time to make the video extreme.
